2020-2021

This project consists of ten large installation paintings and 10 videos. The videos are both integral to the making of the paintings (as documentation, performance and source projections) and stand-alone adjunct remnants. The subject of each work is, really, mortality, but also how to research and consider history. The histories considered are personal, ancestral, art historical, and periodic. There is also consideration of how painting processes might develop to carry their own sensory narrative.
